Pastor Jason Bowman
Pastor Jason Bowman has devoted his life to encouraging others through the expository teaching of God’s Word. It is only by God’s grace, that Jason was saved. Answering the call to preach at the age of 18, the Lord led him to study at Liberty University, where he earned his B.S. in Pastoral Ministries, and a B.A. in Biblical Studies. It is also only by God’s grace that he met his best friend and wife of 21 years. Together, they have a son who makes them both enormously proud.With the honor of having served as a Youth Pastor, Senior Pastor, and as a Co-Pastor, Jason was named Lead Pastor of Horizon Christian Fellowship in 2020. Committed to the mission of Equipping believers through biblical Exposition, Exhorting believers through Exaltation of our Lord, and Evangelizing the community through Exclamation of the Gospel, Jason wants to follow God’s Will. He truly wants it to be known that this ministry is built only by the sovereign hand of God and His faithful servants.
Pastor Tony White
Pastor Tony White was blessed to have grown up in a Christian home. It was at the age of 10 that he trusted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. After graduating from high school Tony struggled with surrendering his life to the ministry. At 19 years old, he surrendered his will to God's will, and followed His calling. He enrolled at Massillon Baptist College and graduated with a Bachelor's of Divinity with an emphasis on Youth Ministry. Tony has been serving in youth ministry for nearly twenty years. He has also had the privilege of being a church music minister for nearly ten years.He and his wife Angie were married in August of 1999, and she has faithfully served with Tony every step of the way. Tony and Angie have always had a heart for teenagers, and now they are raising two of their own! Their daughter Faith is in ninth grade, and their son Jack is in seventh grade. They are thrilled to be able to serve together along with Pastor Jason, Melissa and all of the other wonderful people at Horizon Christian Fellowship! Tony was selected as Associate Pastor in January 2020, in charge of the youth and music minstries.
